ABOUT US

Shahjalal Madrasha & Eatim Khana Trust

Shahjalal Madrasha & Eatim Khana Trust was first established in 1998.

In Sulemanpur, Sunamgonj, there is an extreme amount of poverty, lack of education and poor general welfare for the villagers and students. This becomes worse in the monsoon season, when houses and land become flooded and extremely inhabitable.

This charity has therefore been established to change this situation with the help of Allah Ta'aala by providing poor and orphan students with food, clothes and accommodation. Through your generous donations we have set up five madrashas as well as a dedicated project to provide the community with food and clothes when possible.

About us

We are a charitable organisation which provides:

  • - Education
  • - Food
  • - Clothing
  • - Shelter

Alhamdulillah, we have established five madrasah's to support this community, producing countless Hafiz-e-Qur'an who have gone on to hold positions at renowned masaajid and institutes throughout the country.

To support the wider community we have also built and renovated a three storey masjid for all the local villagers to pray their five daily salah, and Jum'uah on Friday.

These young/orphan children are becoming important leaders of the community and will now be able to earn an income to support their families

This is only made possible through the generous and much needed support from donors across the UK & Europe.
