At Shahjalal Madrasha & Eatim Khana Trust, we emphasise the advancing of education for both poor/orphan boys and girls.
Alhamdulillaah, we have taken the steps necessary to employ female teachers, build and furnish separate education facilities for female staff and students, who will be studying the Holy Qur'an. We have more than 500 poor/orphan girls at our Mohila Madrasha. We provide their food, accommodation and toilet facilities.
This is a three year intensive course where students will be learning portions from the Qur'an on a daily basis from the beginning of Surah Fatiha to Surah Nas. This routine begins from Fajr prayer and ends after Isha prayer.
Graduate Hafizas will either remain at the Madrasah to teach or will return to their villages to help make a difference.
These young orphan girls who were previously sent off to work have had their lives transformed, and will continue to pray for the wellbeing of each and every donor who supported their cause, especially those who have sponsored them.
These poor/orphan students have only been cared for and educated through the generous and much needed donations from brothers and sisters across the world, in particular the United Kingdom.
